Mrs. Marion “Tiger” Denton, 86, of Melbourne died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Born in Manhattan, New York, Marion came to Melbourne in 1967 after her husband retired from Army.
Marion spent many years volunteering within the community.
She worked with the Melbourne Police Department, with NAMIE, as well as various other organizations. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting and watching classic movies.
Survivors include her daughters; Maureen Okerstrom of Melbourne, Marcella Denton-Vnuk of Palm Bay, Denise Caligiuri of Ohio, Brenda Zimbardi of Georgia, Karen Altenhof of Virignia, her sons; Alan Golden of New York, Brian Denton of Orlando; fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
