Safe Place to Trick or Treat

Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center is excited to share that we will be hosting our annual “Safe Place to Trick or Treat” on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year our residents and partners have selected a “Dr. Seuss World” theme. Although we won’t be serving green eggs and ham, you can bet our home will be a colorful and whirly land featuring the Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who, and Lorax.

Each Fall our residents look forward to welcoming thousands of children into their home to admire their costumes and fill their pumpkin buckets with sweet treats. The residents love interacting with our youth and seeing the smiles on their faces as they receive a handful of candy.

This program is driven by the community’s support. Ayers is accepting candy donations and time contributions to help create the décor for the event.  As Dr. Seuss once said, “sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory”. Let’s give our residents and youth the opportunity to make fun-filled memories together; see you there!
