Nine Arrested in Operation “Times Up” over the weekend

On June 22, 2017, the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office concluded the second phase of its ongoing investigation into the illegal narcotics violations occurring in Gilchrist County. Operation “Times Up” resulted in the arrest of multiple suspects for various criminal violations. Also as a result of this operation, other crimes have been solved, with more information on those cases coming in the future. A search warrant was also executed during this phase of the investigation. This operation was a joint investigation between the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office and the Eighth Judicial Circuits State Attorney’s Office. More arrests and charges are anticipated.

The following individuals were arrested or charged on June 22 or 23, 2017 during Operation “Times Up”.

Eugene Wayne Shiflett, white male, date of birth 12/30/1964 of Bell, Florida. Sale of a Controlled substance: Bond $100,000.00. Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydromorphone) bond was set at $20,000.00.

Christina Lynn Bell, white female, D.O.B. 06/22/1973) of Bell, Florida, Sale of a Controlled Substance, Bond $100,000.00. Use of a Communication Device during the Course of a Felony, Bond set at $25,000.00.

Christopher Bernard Jackson, black male, date of birth 1/08/1973 of Trenton, Florida. Sale of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) within a thousand feet of a School, bond  set at $125,000.00, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) bond set at $25,000.00. Use of a Communications Device During the Course of a Felony, bond set at $25,000.00.

Ashley Marie Sheffield, white female, D.O.B. 6/29/1993 of High Springs, Florida. Delivery of Methamphetamine Bond $100,000, Use of A Two way Communication Device During the Course of a Felony, bond set at  $50,000.00.

Johnny Tyler Dees, white male, date of birth 6/11/1993, of Branford, Florida. Possession of Methamphetamine, bond set at  $50,000.00. Delivery of Methamphetamine, bond set at  $100,000.00. Use of a Two way Communications Device in the course of a Felony, bond set at  $50,000.00.

Tracy Lynn Hobby, white male, date  of birth 10/30/1986 of Bell, Florida, Possession of Methamphetamine, bond set at $100,000.00. Possession of Ammo or Weapon by a Convicted Felon Bond $250,000.00, Sale of Methamphetamine, bond set at $250,000.00. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,  Bond $15,000.00, Possession of Less than 20 grams of Cannabis, bond set at $15,000.00.

All bonds were set by Gilchrist County Judge Sheree H. Lancaster.

The following individuals were previously arrested or had charges filed during the course of Operation “Times Up”.  Linda Mae Collins, white female, date of birth 4/30/1961 of Trenton, Florida. Sale of a Controlled Substance (Hydromorphone), bond set at  $200,000.00, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydromorphone), bond set at $100,000.00.

George Ted Teague, white male, date of birth 5/11/1955 of Trenton, Florida. Sale of a Controlled Substance (Hydromorphone). Unlawful Use of a Two Way Communications Device During the Course of a Felony, total bond $200,000.00

Kimberly Hite, white female, date of birth 2/15/1965 of Chiefland, Florida, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
