O’Sullivan and Noyes Valedictorians, Weeks and Johnson Salutatorians

The 2018 Valedictorians and Salutatorians were announced recently for Bell and Trenton High Schools.
Molly Shay O’Sullivan is the 2018 Bell High School Valedictorian. Molly had a Numeric GPA of 99.484. Alexis Marie Weeks is the Salutatorian at Bell High with a Numeric GPA of 99.328.
The Trenton High School Valedictorian is Trevor David Noyes. Trevor had a Numeric GPA of 99.215. Sarah Michelle Johnson is Trenton High’s Salutatorian with a Numeric GPA of 98.180.
Molly Shay O’Sullivan is the daughter of Martin and Carleen O’Sullivan of High Springs. Molly is a Sunshine State Scholar. While attending Bell High she was a member of Beta Club in the 11th and 12th grade. She won first place in Fiber Art at the state level during her 11th grade year and placed second in Fiber Arts during her 12th grade year. In the 9th grade she played JV basketball and in 10th grade she played varsity basketball. She has spent time volunteering at the High Springs Library and the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire. Her hobbies include cross-stitch, crochet, reading, baking and drawing. Molly’s future plans include studying Aerospace Engineering at a university.
Trenton High’s Valedictorian Trevor David Noyes of Trenton is the son of David Noyes and Julie and Cecil Smith.
During school Trevor made straight A’s all through high school. He has been accepted into University of Florida for the Fall of 2018. Trevor will have earned his AA degree at the end of the spring semester. He was a member of FCA through high school and has been on the leadership team for the past three years. During his 10th grade year Trevor played JV baseball. He is also a member of Uprising Youth Group at Pine Grove Baptist Church. His hobbies include fishing and woodworking. Through the years he has done many community service projects with his church.
When asked about earning his place as Valedictorian Trevor said, “I am very honored to be receiving this honor. Thankful for the support of my parents, teachers and school staff.” Trevor has been accepted into the University of Florida for the Fall of 2018 and he plans to work toward a mechanical engineering degree.
Alexis Marie Weeks the Bell Salutatorian is the daughter of Milton and Amanda Weeks of Bell.
Alexis was on the All A honor roll though out high school and she completed her AA degree at Florida Gateway College. She was a member of FCA and an officer, Beta Vice President, senior class treasurer, social committee for student government. Alexis played volleyball, basketball, softball and weight lifting. She was a member of her church youth group and likes to read and draw. She is very pleased to be signing with Florida Gateway College to play volleyball.
Alexis plans to attend Florida Gateway College and complete her AS degree and take prerequisites for animal science. Then she plans to attend the University of Florida and finish her animal science classes and work toward becoming a veterinarian.
The Trenton High Salutatorian Sarah Michelle Johnson is the daughter of Megan Johnson and Trenton Lacy of Trenton. Sarah was on the A honor roll in 10th and 11th grade, she will be graduating with a AA degree from Florida Gateway College. Sarah was on the President’s List for the 2017 Fall Semester at Florida Gatway College and a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Her hobbies include drawing, reading and hiking. During her high school years she has been a volunteer tutor for elementary students, and volunteered in the concession stand at both basketball and softball games. Sarah’s future plans include attending Stetson University where she has been accepted. She plans to major in psychology before going on to law school.
