Mr. Ronnie Eugene “Suwannee Ronnie”
Anderson
Ronnie Eugene “Suwannee Ronnie” Anderson, 65, of Suwannee passed away March 29, 2018.
Ronnie was born May 21, 1952 to the late Zachary and Christine Anderson in Douglas, Georgia, but had lived in the Suwannee area since he was 12. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Reserve and had been a commercial fisherman for several years. Ronnie was a member of the Salt Creek Baptist Church.
Ronnie is survived by his companion Deana Harper; his sons Ryan Anderson and Adam (Erica) Anderson, his daughter Nicole (Bubba) Kight, his brothers Billy (Yvonne) Anderson, Kenny (Terri) Anderson and Charles Anderson; his sister Janet (Jack) Anderson, five grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and other extended family members.
Graveside funeral services for Ronnie were held 3:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Keen Cemetery outside of Suwannee, with Pastor Dwayne Kight and Pastor Fred Edwards officiating.

Mr. Jimmy Ray Cheaves
Jimmy Ray Cheaves of Trenton, passed away at home on Monday, March 26, 2018. He was 56 years old. Jimmy was born in Chattanooga, TN to Ray and Gladys Cheaves on July 7, 1961 and had been a resident of Trenton since moving from Plant City 8 years ago. He worked in the Construction Industry as a Roofer.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Carrie Allgood; his daughters, Ashley Harris of Lakeland and Katty Cheaves of Trenton; his sons, Jimmy Ray Cheaves, II of Fanning Springs and Johnathan Cheaves of Trenton and his 6 grandchildren.

Mrs. Tina Ann Daubert
Tina Ann Daubert, 52, of Old Town passed on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
Tina was born in Arizona on September 10, 1965. She moved to the Old Town area from Pennsylvania 17 years ago. She was a devoted mother and homemaker although she did spend five years working in the kitchen at Lancaster Correctional Institution. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to spend time tending to her flowers and working in her garden. She was very involved in her children’s activities and enjoyed being involved in all of their school functions.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years James “Buddy” Stills of Old Town; her son Timothy Daubert of Old Town; daughters Melinda Daubert of Pennsylvania; Melanie Daubert, Jessica Daubert, and Cally Stills all of Old Town; brothers Gordon Glen Montgomery of LeCanto, and Richard Montgomery of New Jersey; sisters Kristina Heiselmoyer of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey and Alesha Jolly of Crystal River; and four grandchildren and many extended friends and family.
Graveside services for Tina were held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Long Pond Cemetery, Cross City, with Rev. Bobby Lindsey officiating. Family received friends from 9:00 AM to 10:40 AM at Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel.

Mr. Samuel Chase Ellinger
Samuel Chase Ellinger, 19, of Trenton passed away March 24, 2018.
Sam was born in Gainesville on December 23, 1998. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and painting, both pictures and houses.
Sam is survived by his father James Ellinger of Newberry, his sisters Korianne Ellinger of Trenton and Sarah Ellinger of Newberry; his grandparents Ted Pierce of Brandon, Linda and Alan Godwin of Palm Coast and Jim Ellinger of Palatka; his aunts Tedi Petito and Autumn Ellinger; his uncles Tate Petito and Joey Ellinger; his cousins Jason Petito, Laney Petito, and Cody Ellinger; his adoptive parents Mark and Wendi Bastow; his adoptive brothers Matthew and Ryan, and his adoptive grandparents Cindy Firestine, John and Cheryl Firestine, and Mick and Amy Bastow. He was preceded in death by his mother Wende Ellinger and his grandmother Sharilyn LaRue.
A memorial service was held in honor of Sam at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chiefland Chapel, with Bro. Rocky McKinley and Bro. Andrew Petruch officiating.

Mr. Arthur Ronald Pinner, Sr.
Arthur Ronald Pinner, Sr., 92, of Cross City, was called home by his Heavenly Father on March 31, 2018. Arthur was born December 24, 1925 in Dixie County to William M. Pinner and Eliza Adaline Baker Pinner. Arthur was a loving family man and enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids and especially his grand kids.
He was of the Baptist faith and served as Deacon of First Baptist Church of Cross City for 40 years. He was a member of the U.S. Armed Forces where he served in the Army as well as the Merchant Marines. He was owner of Pinner Oil Co. in Cross City for nearly 50 years, he served as a director for Central Florida Electric Co-op for 20 years, he was a member of the Cross City Masonic Lodge for many years and served as a local board member for the Selective Service System (Draft Board) for several years. He also supported several community organizations and was a director of the Suwannee River Youth Fair for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Eliza Pinner; sisters, Clara Chavous and Cora Sapp and brothers, Homer and Leon Pinner.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Evelyn Glisson Pinner; sons, Ronnie (Robyn) Pinner, Gary (Sheila) Pinner and Jamie Pinner, all of Cross City; sister, Willie Mae Boyette Prime of Cross City; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Arthur will be deeply missed by his family and many friends he has made over the years.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chapel in Cross City with the family receiving visitors an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Bob Wetzel
Bob Wetzel, 91, of Old Town passed away March 26, 2018.
Bob was born June 20, 1926 to the late George and Helen Wetzel in Miami. He moved back to Florida after living in Chicago and New Jersey where his 3 children were born. He served in the United States Navy during World War II on several different Destroyer Escorts. The one he often spoke of was the battle of Iwo Jima. Bob was a member of the American Legion Post 383 in Old Town. He sold goods all over the state at different flea markets and loved making people laugh.
Mr. Wetzel is survived by his wife of 25 years Martha Wetzel; his daughter Linda Wetzel; his sons Leo Wetzel and Robert Wetzel; his stepdaughter Theresa Williams and his stepson David Wiggins; his brother Val Wetzel, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and other extended family members.
A memorial service was held for Mr. Wetzel on Saturday, March 31 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel.
