Local law enforcement holds active shooter training

During the week of March 18-23 (Spring Break) the Gilchrist County Sherriff’s Office personnel, along with Gilchrist County Fire and Rescue Emergency Management and the City of Trenton Public Safety Department came together for a special training at local schools.
Local law enforcement and Fire Rescue came together to practice “Active Shooter” training at schools in Bell and Trenton.
School safety remains a top priority for GCSO. Sheriff Bobby Schultz reaffirms his commitment to protecting our children, teachers and our administrators.
Thomas Hausner of Hausner and Associates conducted the training.
Sheriff Schultz said, “We really appreciate Mr. Hausner’s expertise and help during this training.”
