Community saddened by loss of Marjorie Henley

The Trenton Community was saddened on Monday morning to hear that longtime resident Marjorie Henley passed away Sunday evening, July 15.
Mrs. Henley worked with the Gilchrist County School District for some 38 years. During her lifetime she was a mentor to many local school children. She first worked as secretary to John Morris and later as secretary in the Trenton High School Office.
Married for 57 years, she and her husband Ted Henley have volunteered their time to serve others in the community through numerous causes. They are known to be very giving people who will do anything for anyone.
In 2014 Ted and Marjorie Henley were given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Gilchrist County Chamber of Commerce for their contributions to Gilchrist County.
Mrs. Henley’s Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 22 at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Trenton.
