A Night of Hope Gala Planned for Oct. 11 at Camp Anderson

A Night of Hope Gala will be held on Thursday, October 11 at Camp Anderson near Old Town. The annual gala will benefit Harmony Pregnancy and Resource Center in Chiefland. The Gala will begin at 6 p.m. and will last until 8 p.m.
The center provides service for women who have an unplanned pregnancy in the Tri-County area.
The Gala will include wonderful food, testimonies, a live auction and lots of good fellowship. Some of the live auction items will include a South African Safari hunt trip for eight days and seven nights valued at $6,200, a New Zealand hunting trip for five days and four nights valued at $6,000, and an Argentina Hunt for four days and four nights valued at $3,600. Other silent auction items include chartered fishing trips, handmade quilts, Back the Blue Painting and more.
Some of the services Harmony provides are pregnancy testing, Spiritual Counseling, weekly Bible study, material assistance through their Earn While You Learn Program, and scholarship for Mom’s Program to help mothers further their career. The center also has a yearly Back to School Bash and Christmas Gifts for the Children.
Gala tickets are $50 each and are still available and/or to be a sponsor of the event call 493-7773 or email hprc@svic.net. The center will gladly accept donations of any size, checks can be written to Harmony Pregnancy and Resource Center and mailed to P.O. Box 2557, Chiefland FL 32644.
Harmony Pregnancy and Resource Center is located at 721 NE 4th Street in Chiefland, near Chiefland First Baptist Church.
