Lady Tigers win Cedar Key meet, remain undefeated

The Trenton Lady Tiger cross-country team wins the Cedar Key Cross-Country Invitational and remain undefeated.
The Trenton boys and girls cross-country teams travelled to Cedar Key on October 4, to compete at the Cedar Key Cross Country Invitational. The Lady Tigers ran against Bell, Bradford, Bronson, Cedar Key, Chiefland, First Christian, Meadowbrook Academy, St. John Lutheran, Seven Rivers, and Suwannee.
The Lady Tigers continued their undefeated season by winning the eleven school event with top performances by Nevaeh Pogue, Jaden Riess, Hailey Griffis, Rebecca Drilling, Carol Lynn Drilling, Abbie Griffis, Kieley Duke, and Ansley Buck. The Tiger boys competed against Bell, Bradford, Cedar Key, Chiefland, Eastside, First Christian Academy, Meadowbrook Academy, Oak Hall, Seven Rivers, St. John Lutheran, Suwannee, and Williston.
Trenton placed 8th in the thirteen team boys’ event with great runs by Jonah Johnson, Kayden Roberts, Hunter Allen, Colby Wilson, Leslie Junkin, and John Schultz. The Tigers run once more with county rival Bell as they prepare for their District meet at St. Francis Catholic High School on October 24. Go Tigers!
