Tigers finish regular season with 12-6 victory over Trojans

The Trenton Tigers finished their 2018 football season by defeating the Hamilton County Trojans 12-6 Friday night in The Jungle. For the Tigers it was a sweet victory to the end of a trying 2-8 season.
Trenton jumped out to an early 6-0 lead as Wyatt Lovelace scored on a first quarter run. As the Tigers were just warming up, Lovelace connected with senior Blake Hall on a pass then Hall turned on the speed dashing 65 yards for the 12-0 lead at halftime.
It was in the third period when the Trojans scored but fell short on their 2-point conversion attempt for their 12-6 final.
Although the score was close, this game was anything but close in statistics. Trenton’s Wyatt Lovelace had 10 tackles, 3 for loss, 1 fumble recovery and 1 blocked punt. Jordan Fulmer recorded 8 tackles and 3 for loss. Sr. Conner White had 7 tackles and 3 for loss.
