Tigers crown 2014 Homecoming royalty

Bethany Dunn and Jacob Gamble were crowned 2014 Trenton High School Homecoming royalty last week.
It was a magical week at THS as the student body celebrated with a theme of “Dare to Dream”. The festivities, which included dress up days, hall decorating and Tiger Growl, as well as a lively Homecoming parade, concluded on Friday night as the Tigers soundly defeated Marianna 51-11.

This year’s homecoming queen, Bethany Dunn is the daughter of Tony and Christine Dunn. She is an active member of the BETA Club at Trenton High School. Outside of school, Bethany volunteers at local schools, nursing homes and at community events. She loves bonfires during the winter and can often be found enjoying the river during the summer months. Bethany loves spending time with her friends and family. After graduation, Bethany plans to attend college with hopes to obtain a degree in Business Administration.
Bethany was chosen Homecoming queen from a group of candidates including Kylah Dawson, Kylie Johnson and Cherith Goold.

Jacob Gamble was crowned homecoming king on Thursday, Oct. 23 at Tiger Growl. Jacob is the son of Jack and Leah Gamble and Stephanie Gamble. He has played football since his days with Suwannee Valley Leagues and has started on the varsity football team since his 10th grade year. Jacob has been on the All Academic Team for two years and was a member of the Trenton High School State Championship winning football team in 2013. Jacob has also run track since 7th grade, and participated in weightlifting since 9th grade. Outside of school, Jacob has volunteered at the food pantry. In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his friends and family. After graduation, Jacob plans to continue his education with hopes of going into sports medicine.
Jacob was chosen Homecoming king from a group of candidates including Mill Lang, Matthew George, and Brooks Parrish.
After a week of Homecoming revelry and a big victory over the Marianna Bulldogs, the Trenton Tigers will host Bronson this Friday night.
