Operation Christmas Child another success!

11,453 Christmas Shoeboxes were collected from the Tri-County Area this year. Sandie and Johnny Johnson were in charge of collection week where thousands of Christmas Shoeboxes were dropped off at Bethel Baptist Church in Gilchrist County. Riverside Wranglers defeat Donahue Catholic for State Title birth

The Wranglers secured a birth in the FCSA 6-man state football championship game December 5th in Lakeland. FGC Cross Country Runner Receives All America Award

Three runners for the Florida Gateway College Women’s Cross Country Team competed last week at the 2020 NJCAA Women’s Half Marathon Championship in Fort Dodge, Iowa. FGC freshman Merlin Leal received the All America Award for finishing in the top 20, placing 19th with a time of 1:49:52.6 in the 13.1-mile race. Bell FFA Shin Dig raises over $5,000 for Middle and High FFA Chapters

Needless to say, Bell FFA Chapter Advisors Debbie Jones and Brett Wasden were delighted with the 2020 Bell FFA Alumni Shin Dig. The final tally for the fund raising event was $5,317. On Veteran’s Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11th, the Gilchrist County Woman’s Club honored local Veterans with breakfast. The club formally known as the Trenton Woman’s Club was founded in 1929.
