Trenton FFA returns home with several Awards from National Convention

Trenton FFA had a fantastic National FFA Convention. The Sr. Chapter was recognized as a National 2 Star Chapter and the Trenton Alumni and Supporters group was awarded a silver award. The 4-H Clubs throughout Gilchrist County participate in a scarecrow competition during the month of October each year in honor of National 4-H week  which was October 6-12, 2019. Riverside Christian thumps Peniel Academy to advance in 6-man football playoffs

The Riverside Christian Wranglers traveled to Palatka to face the Peniel Warriors in the first round of the state 6-man football playoffs Friday night. The Wranglers dominated their host 59-6 as they advance to face Hillsborough Christian Friday night in Trenton. The Gilchrist County Commission took action to approve a Site and Development Plan, SP 2019-10 to allow a welding shop in an A-2 agriculture land use for Jeff and Rhonda Jordan of Bell.
