Fundraiser on Friday for Payton Stanley

There will be a fundraiser luncheon on Friday, March 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the employee parking lot at Capital City Bank in Trenton to assist Payton Stanley. Holiday Inn Express moves forward

The Fanning Springs City Council held a special meeting on December 11, 2014 to discuss and approve a development order agreement for the proposed Holiday Inn Express. The Holiday Inn Express developer has been working with Gilchrist County and the City of Fanning Springs to build a new hotel in Fanning Springs on property located behind Capital City Bank. Volunteers provide Thanksgiving dinner for 300 local families

Struggling families in Gilchrist County do not have to wonder where their Thanksgiving dinner will come from. Each year the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Volunteers organize a Thanksgiving food drive that provides turkey and all the trimmings to 300 local families.
