Gilchrist County Farm Bureau awards three scholarships

The Gilchrist County Farm Bureau announced their 2020 Scholarship recipients last week. The Bell High School winner of the Gilchrist County Farm Bureau was J.W. Ripley. Sali Nadine Powers was the Trenton High School Farm Bureau scholarship recipient. Amie Jones was the Dixie County High School Farm Bureau Scholarship recipient. Fifty-three Gilchrist Seniors to receive $1000 scholarships through Education Foundation

The Education Foundation of Gilchrist County has presented $53,000 in scholarships to 31 Bell High School seniors and 22 Trenton High School seniors. Sixteen of the scholarships were funded by civic organizations, private businesses, families, and four were given as memorials  in memory of local citizens.
