Bell FFA attends State FFA Convention

Restoration work to begin on Trenton’s old gym

The Gilchrist County School Board voted to award the construction bid to Oelrich Construction, Inc. for the restoration of the Old Gym. Bell High School senior paralyzed in weekend accident

There was no school at Bell High School on Monday, but the campus was far from empty as students gathered around the flag pole to pray for their classmate, Cole White. A Bell High School senior, Cole was seriously injured when he fell while at Bob’s River Place on the Suwannee River. Full Story »

Langford, Williams named top scholars

  Kacee Montana Langford has been named Trenton High School’s valedictorian and Ashley Nicole Williams is Bell High School’s valedictorian representing the graduating Class of 2015. Mock Trial teaches 5th grade students about the judicial system

Fifth grade students from Trenton and Bell schools got a lesson in how the judicial system works last week while participating in mock trials at the Gilchrist County Courthouse. Gilchrist County Judge Sheree Lancaster drew names to determine who would be called from the audience to serve as the defendant, assistant judge, jurors, assistant bailiff and assistant clerk. Trenton Junior-Senior Prom returns to the high school gym

The Trenton High School gym was transformed into “Party at Gatsby’s…The Roaring 20’s” on Friday night for the junior/senior prom. According to Leigh Hartzog and Stephanie Shelley, who are the junior class sponsors, students began fundraising before the school year even started. The Bell High School Health Academy HOSA Parliamentary Procedure team went to the State Leadership Conference in Orlando March 26-29. Team members include: Ranie Butler, Ricky Buchholz, Penelope Sutliff, Taylor Rogers, Ashton Mathews, Jake Hunter, and Christine Rowe.
