Trenton High’s 2018 Graduation

By Cindy Jo Ayers The Trenton High School 2018 senior class graduated on Friday, May 25. The graduation ceremony was moved from Tiger Stadium to the Suwannee River Fair Pavilion due to rainy weather. Gilchrist Students Excel in Area 2 Soil and Water Conservation Contests

Submitted The winners of Gilchrist Soil & Water Conservation District (GSWCD) speech and poster contest participated in the AFCD Area 2 contest in Live Oak on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Bagby and Anthony do well at State Science and Engineering Fair

In late March Austin Bagby and Caitlin Anthony of Bell High School presented their FFA project, Can Humate Reduce Nitrogen Leaching in Sandy Soils at the State Science and Engineering Fair in Lakeland. Running of the Bulldogs raises $3,000

By Matthew Harrell The seventh annual Running of the Bulldogs raised $3,000 to help fight cancer. Forty-three runners ran, jogged and walked a 3.1-mile course that weaved through dirt roads, went down Main Street, and started and finished at the Bell High School track. Trenton FFA does well at Ornamental Horticulture District Event

In mid March, Trenton FFA members competed in ornamental horticulture demonstrations in Branford at the District Competition. There are five categories including production, artistic arrangement, consumer use, marketing and landscaping.
