Local horses do well in Harness Racing

Verlin Yoder of Bell has been a busy man for the past few years. He trains Standardbred horses at Gilcrest Farms in Gilchrist County for much of the year. Operations Christmas Child collected 15,778 shoe boxes in Tri-County area

Submitted Christmas Shoeboxes were collected for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child from churches and individuals in Gilchrist, Levy and Dixie Counties. They were brought to the collection site at Bethel Baptist Church.
