A host of happy Gilchrist County 4-H Club members attended the Annual 4-H

Awards Banquet on Thursday, August 19th. This year’s banquet was held at the Suwannee River Fair Barn in Fanning Springs. The citizens of Gilchrist and Levy Counties were sad to learn that Pastor Greg Douglas, a longtime area Baptist Pastor, had passed away on Thursday, August 5. Trenton’s Michael Smith and Jovanni Ajax promoted to Sergeant

U.S. Army Corporal Michael A. Smith was promoted to Sergeant (E5) on August 2nd during a ceremony in Grafenwohr, Germany. Young Farmers and Ranchers Name Competition Finalists

More than 225 young farmers and ranchers across the Sunshine State gathered in-person at the Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, July 9-11, 2021 for the Young Farmers and Ranchers Leadership Conference. Gilchrist County 4-H has Successful Rib Sale

4-H members met their goal of preselling 200 slabs of ribs and they had additional customers walk up to buy ribs during the July 1-2 fundraiser.
