William C. Hickman Sexual Predator Registered In Levy County

On June 27, 2016 William R. Hickman registered as a Sexual Predator with the Levy County Sheriff’s Office. By Florida law Hickman is required to notify law enforcement whenever he changes addresses. Two Arrested on Friday Drugs, Cash and Hummer Seized

Gilchrist County Criminal Interdiction Team was out in full force over the holiday weekend. Deputy Clint Anderson stopped a 1991 Hummer and was assisted by K-9 Deputy Matthew Rexroat whose K-9 indicated narcotics in the vehicle. Gilchrist County Courthouse receives bomb threat on Friday

By Cindy Jo Ayers Gilchrist County Sheriff Robert Schultz reported that the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s office was notified of a bomb threat around 1:45 on Friday afternoon, June 24. Rock Bluff Bridge gets an upgrade

The maintenance project on the Rock Bluff Bridge has been completed. The work was funded by the Florida Department of Transportation and the project cost was 1.2 million dollars. The work was done by Southern Road and Bridge of Tarpon Springs. The Rock Bluff Bridge was built in 1965 and replaced the ferry.    Full Story »
