Deputies make numerous arrests at Ginnie Springs

Local home destroyed by fire last Wednesday afternoon

The home of Jack and Marsha Cook was destroyed by fire on Wednesday, May 25. The accidental fire started in the kitchen area of the home in the late afternoon hours. County grants extension for gas station at 47/340

Residents of north Gilchrist County who have been waiting for a convenience store to open at the intersection of State Road 47 and County Road 340 will have to wait a little longer. 5 adults, 9 juveniles charged in high school brawl

Three top Trenton High School athletes were among the 14 individuals facing charges for a brawl that occurred on the Trenton High School campus on March 14. Trevante Robert McCleese, 18, faces felony charges for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and affray. Trenton family devastated by Ocala double homicide

  A Trenton family was shocked over the weekend when they were notifified that two family members were victims in a double homicide.
