Suwannee Valley Quilt Festival is next weekend

Trenton’s Suwannee Valley Quilt Festival, which will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015, will host a special quilt display featuring designs by Kaffe Fassett. It’s time to plant watermelons

  Local farmer Jenner Ridgeway submitted this photograph of workers planting watermelons between Trenton and Bell on Monday. According to Ridgeway, the workers can plant 50 acres of watermelons a day while seated on planters attached to a tractor. Fanning Springs, Bell residents arrested for Meth

The Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office arrested three Fanning Springs residents and a Bell woman last week on methamphetamine related charges.
