Lauren Roberts crowned Newberry Watermelon Festival Queen

Watermelon Field Intentionally Killed

Gilchrist County Farmer loses approximately $400,000 worth of melons, in an Alachua field, after someone adds herbicides to his sprayer. The farmer had his tractor with pull behind sprayers filled with spray to control disease in the 55 acre field. Covid 19 cases being followed in Tri-County Area on Monday

As of Monday, May 4, there were 35 Covid 19 cases in the Tri-County area which includes Gilchrist, Levy and Dixie Counties.
