FDLE: Gilchrist Crime Rate up 75.8%

By Carrie A. Mizell The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s 2018 Uniform Crime Report has found Gilchrist County’s overall crime increased 75.8 percent from 2017 to 2018. No more texting while driving, it’s the law

One out of every four accidents are caused by texting drivers. Texting while driving is now illegal in Florida.
