Mrs. Evelyn Mae Chewning, 74, of Old Town, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015. Mrs. Chewning has lived in Dixie County for the past 50 years, moving here from Beckley, West Virginia. Mr. Chad Howard Williams, 39, of Otter Creek, passed away on June 8, 2015. He was born in Gainesville, spending most of his time in this area.  He proudly served his country in the US Navy for 5 years, serving on nuclear submarines. Mrs. Mary Cordelia Jones, 87, of Trenton passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday June 2, 2015. She was born October 4, 1927 in Polk City to Andrew and Jessie Taylor.
